Job Description:

As the MLRO (Money Laundering Reporting Officer), you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and maintaining a robust financial crime prevention framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement AML policies, procedures, and controls in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Conduct ongoing risk assessments and monitor transactions for suspicious activities, reporting any findings to relevant authorities.
• Lead AML training and awareness programs for employees, promoting a culture of compliance and integrity.
• Stay updated with regulatory developments and assess their impact on the company's AML/CFT (Counter Financing of Terrorism) measures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies on AML-related matters.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of AML controls and recommend enhancements as necessary.

Your Qualifications:

• 8+ years as an MLRO or in a senior compliance role within the financial services industry, preferably in payments or fintech.
• Deep knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, compliance frameworks, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective AML policies, procedures, and controls.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are desirable.
