As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to our early years department.
This is a permanent position with full-time hours.
Job Duties:Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nurserySupport the delivery of educational activities and programmesEnsure the safety and well-being of all childrenHelp with meal times and encourage healthy eating habitsEngage in play and learning activities with the childrenAssist with record-keeping and documentationCollaborate with other staff members and parents to create a positive learning environmentRequired Qualifications of either:CACHE level 2CACHE level 3BIIB level 2 diplomaHighfield level 2 diplomaLevel 2 diploma for early yearsEducation and Experience:To be considered for this role, you should have a CACHE level 2 qualification or above.
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge and Skills:Strong interpersonal skillsFluent in EnglishSupportive and caring natureProactive and able to use initiativePreferred Qualifications:While not essential, the following qualifications would be advantageous:Teaching assistant qualificationWorking Conditions:As a Nursery Assistant, you will be expected to work full-time hours.
The working hours for this role are 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
The position is based in Wembley, Brent, and will require you to work within a nursery environment.
