Nursery Practitioner in Birkenhead

Looking for a Qualified Nursery Practitioner or EYFS Teacher for a long term placement for one of our clients in Upton.

This could lead into a permanent role.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll play a crucial role in shaping young minds and creating a nurturing environment for their growth and development.

Responsibilities: · Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing manner.

· Assist with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities.

· Ensure the well-being, safety, and hygiene of the children at all times.

· Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

· Maintain a clean and organised nursery environment.

· Follow nursery policies and procedures.

· Be punctual and reliable for shifts.

· Maintain a positive and professional attitude.

Qualifications and Requirements: · A recognised Early Years qualification Level 3 or above.

· Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred.

· A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.

· A passion for working with children and helping them develop.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to adapt to different age groups and personalities.

· Flexibility to work varying hours as needed.

· Aware of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and safety procedures.

Job Types: Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Full-time Salary: £12.
