Chronos Energy is working with a leading utility infrastructure provider who owns and operates some of the UK's largest heat networks.
We are currently looking for an Operations and Maintenance Engineer who will be overseeing energy centres, monitoring performance and efficiency, recommending and implementing process improvements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating maintenance activities to meet all insurance and regulatory requirements, manufacturers’ guidelines and best industry practice
- Managing Energy centres and overseeing the performance of energy generation assets through management systems
- Ensuring planned and unplanned outages are managed, communicated and coordinated effectively
- Provide management reports on target/focus areas as and when required
- Implementing plant maintenance policy
Skills and Experience:
- Degree or apprenticeship in an engineering subject
- Operational experience in the management of heating, cooling and generation plant and distribution assets
- Contract and Contractor Management within the heat sector
- Comprehensive knowledge in asset management and meeting key regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of Industry Standards, Codes of Practice, Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements and related Legislation is essential
