This role presents an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to join one of the UK's leading automotive companies, which has operations across the country.Key Responsibilities: * Perform vehicle health checks and PDI/PDC according to manufacturer specifications. * Manage check sheet completion using AssetCare system. * Collaborate with team for consistent productivity. * Ensure accurate documentation completion. * Identify and report vehicle defects to Damage Controller. * Occasionally perform minor repairs, servicing, and tyre replacements. * Maintain equipment cleanliness and safety. * Adhere to health and safety procedures. * Maintain workshop cleanliness and housekeeping. * Fulfill other duties as required.What kind of person are we looking for? * City & Guilds 1 & 2 in Motor Vehicle Studies or Higher BTEC – essential * Successful completion of Manufacturer’s training courses – desirable * Relevant experience in a workshop environment – essential * Good level of industry knowledge/awareness – desirable * Good awareness of quality standards – essential * Good problem-solving skills – desirable * Professional attitude, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal departments – essential * Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised to achieve high standards – desirableBenefits: * Flexible start and finish times - site open 6am-7pm * Uniform provided * Company pension * Free onsite parkingApply today and join our client’s team
