Apply NowJob Title: PE TeacherLocation: East of England, Essex, Southend-on-SeaJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimePrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £30,000 - £41,000 per annumJob Duties:Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education lessons to students.
Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the educational needs and abilities of students.
Assess and evaluate students' progress in physical activities.
Provide feedback to students, parents, and school administration on student performance.
Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events.
Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Required Qualifications:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Degree in Physical Education or a related fieldExperience teaching Physical Education at secondary levelKnowledge of national curriculum requirements for Physical EducationEducation:Degree in Physical Education or a related fieldQualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience:Teaching Physical Education at secondary levelKnowledge and Skills:Understanding of teaching strategies for Physical EducationAbility to effectively assess and evaluate students' progressExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational and time management abilitiesPreferred Qualifications:Postgraduate qualification in EducationExperience coaching sports teamsWorking Conditions:Regular working hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments for extracurricular activitiesInteraction with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basisPhysical activity required during teaching and sports eventsAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
