Co. Antrim – Belfast

Salary – paying up to £60,000

With over 90 years expertise in their field, I am delighted to be working with a leading FMCG company who are seeking for a Planning Manager to join their successful team on a permanent full time basis.

Reporting to the Regional Supply Chain Manager you will:

• Appraise Planning staff and develop 
• Manage the Planning staff on a daily basis
• Drive the efficiency and effectiveness of all Supply Chain activities 
• Supplier Performance
• Raw Material stock-outs
• Responsible for all planning activities covering the short term / operational horizon.
• Drive the execution of the S&OE process 
• Provide procurement, supply points and logistics departments with production plans in line with service levels
• Responsible for ensuring the inventory levels are optimised
• Define and implement inventory and replenishment targets 
• Responsible for making day-to-day decisions, where planning conflicts
• Lead and develop a team of (senior) planners and schedulers through coaching and feedback to maximize performance of themselves and the Planning team.
• Identify, benchmarks and implements Supply Chain best practices
• Assure that all activities and operations are executed in line with HSE / Quality rules
• Other Adhoc duties

About you:

• +4 years’ experience of working within a similar role 
• +2 years’ experience of people management
