Our client a Tier 1 Automotive, operates a modern and fastmoving manufacturing facility supplying injection moulded painted and assembled components finished to the highest standards in sequence with OEM.

In this Plant Engineer role, you will provide engineering support to the manufacturing teams and the project team for the launch of new products and production improvement projects.

You will also direct and implement engineering change and productivity improvements in the plant.

Please note that this position may require some flexibility.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:Define plant-specific equipment (from specification to realization)Assist in defining Standard Operation Procedures for production operators in accordance with best practices and POMSProvide administrative support within SAP, product files, laboratory reports, quality tests, and transportsManagement of serial modifications requested by the customerManage industrial modifications/installations (OPTIPRO)Engineering change management and implementationThe successful Plant Engineer candidate will have a degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience and experience working within Manufacturing.

You will also require knowledge of plastics manufacturing processes (injection, paint, assembly) and knowledge of ISO50001.

Highly confident in controls and automation as well as robots.

You will have current or recent experience as an Industrial Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, Production Engineer or NPI EngineerYou'll receive an excellent salary and benefits package for your knowledge, expertise, and flexibility.
