Career Teachers are seeking two experienced Primary SEND Teaching Assistants for a fantastic Primary School in Lambeth, South London! We are looking for two full-time SEND Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants, to begin immediately. You will be working with a year 5 class, and ideally have experience working with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviour. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers to ensure each child fulfils their potential. You'll engage with students individually or in small groups, including those with additional learning needs such as ASD, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, and more.Qualifications and Experience:We're looking for candidates with prior childcare or school-related experience - babysitting, tutoring, coaching, summer camps, teaching assistant roles, etc. While experience with special educational needs is a plus, it's not mandatory. You will also need:A valid and up-to-date Enhanced DBS, on the Update Service, Valid Right to Work status in the UK, And excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for education!
