Principal Electrical Power Engineer in Barrow-in-Furness

Job Title: Principal Electrical Power EngineerSalary: up to £55,000 per annum dependent upon experienceLocation: Barrow in Furness or BristolWe currently have a vacancy to join one of the world’s leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies as a Principal Electrical Power Engineer.

The role can be based in either Barrow in Furness or Bristol but offers the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours.

As part of the Electrical Power Systems Definition Team, you will be working on the UK’s next-generation SSN design that incorporates technology from the UK, Australia and the United States.

You will be part of the Electrical Power team responsible for defining the needs of equipment, defining the system elements required to feed into the submarine design and build process, including design documentation, spatial modelling and build outputs.
