Private Client Paralegal - NewcastleAdecco are working with a client who are seeking a skilled a Private Client Paralegal to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced paralegal to work in with a client who has a strong reputuation with their private client service offering.Responsibilities:Assisting solicitors in managing a diverse caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, tax, and estate planningDrafting legal documents such as wills, powers of attorney, and trust documentsConducting legal research and preparing reports for solicitorsLiaising with clients, addressing their queries, and providing updates on their casesOrganising and maintaining client files and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to dateAttending meetings with clients and assisting in the preparation of meeting agendas and minutesAssisting in the administration of estates, including the preparation of inheritance tax forms and applying for grants of representationKeeping abreast of relevant legislative changes and maintaining an up-to-date understanding of private client lawRequirements:Previous experience as a private client paralegal, ideally within a similar legal environmentStrong knowledge of private client law and proceduresExcellent drafting skills, with the ability to produce accurate and well-structured legal documentsProficiency in legal research and a good understanding of legal database systemsExceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleaguesAbility to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlinesProfessionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential informationThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package.
