Position: Product Design Engineer

Location: Pershore, Worcestershire

My client who are renowned for providing high quality and innovative engineering products within the mining, construction, recycling, and agricultural machinery industries are on the hunt for a Product Design Engineer!

Role and Responsibilities –

In this role, you will look to action product developments and modify designs to increase efficiency, performance and manufacturability. Working with the Engineering team, it is paramount to be driven and collaborative to drive success being part of an integral key function.

Other responsibilities include:

• Creation and maintenance of manufacturing drawings for fabricated frames and cast steel components
• Creation of 3D assembly models and proposal drawings
• Liasing with office and factory functions so a smooth manufacturing environment is achieved
• Support the wider business with technical and product related needs

Experience or Qualifications –

• Qualification ideally in Product Design or Mechanical (BEng Honors or HNC)
• Experience in 3D CAD software (CREO Parametric a clear advantage)
• Experience in manufacturing processes, fabrications and post machining
• Competency in MS Office (MS Excel)
