£29,950 - £31,621 per annum plus bonus and comprehensive benefits

Your Next Role

Reporting to the Assistant Site Manager, the Production Supervisor will play a ‘hands on’ role in the daily manufacturing management to ensure that we deliver exceptional quality and value to our customers within the expected timescales.

As a Production Supervisor, you will;

  • Supervise a team of 30 within the Upholstery production area via process improvements, resolving workflow issues, resource planning and best practice to ensure departmental targets are achieved.
  • Oversee the supply chain to ensure no disruption to production and service, whilst maximising any cost saving potential.
  • Work alongside Product and Operational teams to ensure products exceed industry standards, company policies and technical standards.
  • Develop and manage the team through training plans and developing talent.
  • Conduct daily floor walks, audits and follow the Health & Safety processes.
  • Undertake key decision making in relation to commercial decisions, supplier issues and introduction of new models.

    The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of lean manufacturing practices, ideally from an Upholstery or Woodmill/Joinery background.
