Air Personnel are delighted to be looking for two Quality Auditors for their client in Oxford.

Description/Overall purpose of the Job of a Quality AuditorWe are seeking a Quality Auditor to support the Quality Manager in maintaining the Company Quality Management System (QMS).

The successful candidate will also support the Safety Management System (SMS) Manager in the management of risk assessments and the implementation of safety improvement projects.

Tasks will also include maintenance of Company Approvals, Auditing to regulation and Hosting regulatory groups (CAA, MAA), approval body (BSi) and customer auditors.

Main responsibilities of a Quality AuditorAuditing to the Company Internal Audit plan, including visits to Line Stations and Vendors (some overseas travel may be required).

Writing/amending Company documentation.

Inputting data to Quality Department Databases.

Root cause and trend analysis.

Management of Company document library on Google Drive.

Issuing engineering authorisations.

Carrying out internal investigations to maintenance errors (MEDA).

Carrying out CAA Mandatory Occurrence Report investigations.

Delivery of Quality and Safety related training.

Knowledge and Skills for Quality AuditorEssentialExperience in Aviation related auditing and compliance monitoring.

DesirableExperience of QMS in EASA Part 145 and Part M environments.

Experience in Design organisation procedures, preferably EASA Part 21 J.

Experience in Production organisation procedures, preferably EASA Part 21 G.

Experience with BSI QMS including ISO 9001 EN 9100, EN 9110, EN 9120.

Experience with BSI Environmental Management ISO 14001Experience with BSI Health and Safety ISO 18001Experienced in the use of MS Office and/or Google Workspace applications.

Education, Qualifications or Training for Quality AuditorsEssentialAudit training and supporting qualifications.

Aviation engineering background.

About youValid driving license and passport.

Able to be security cleared to at least BPSS.

Good general communication skills.

Willing to travel including limited overseas duties.

Able to work with host departments to ensure that corrective and preventative actions are effective and implemented in a timely manner.

Able to work under pressure to meet challenging timescales.

Able to work with autonomy to manage their own workload efficiently.

Able to work collectively to achieve organisational goals.

Additional requirementsDue to the nature of this position you will require DBS Security Clearance and be eligible for BPSS clearance, ideally SC.
