Intermediate Quantity Surveyor - Fit Out FocusSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOECompany Overview:Our company is rapidly growing. Specializing in fit-out projects, we have established ourselves in the commercial and education sectors, working on diverse projects across the North West and Leeds.Position Overview:We are seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Altrincham, focusing primarily on fit-out projects. This role offers the opportunity for professional development and learning, with the potential to grow within the company. The position is primarily office-based but will involve site visits across the North West and occasional visits to sites in Leeds.Responsibilities:Manage own diary and conduct site visits for site and contract reviews as required.Handle estimating duties, including negotiating tenders and individual costings.Prepare client valuations, cash flow forecasts, and accurate monitoring of site preliminaries.Ensure full recovery and valuation of variations/instructions.Administer subcontractor contracts and accounts, ensuring timely payments and notices.Assist with compiling monthly cost/value reconciliations and forecasts.Identify and communicate commercial threats to projects to senior surveyors.Attend meetings and provide accurate, timely surveying information and cost advice.Requirements:Surveying Degree or equivalent qualification/experience.Minimum of 3 years' experience working for a Main Contractor.Experience with design and build projects, ideally with JCT contracts.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Benefits:Competitive salary.Car allowance.6% employer workplace pension contribution.25 days' holiday plus statutory holidays.Holiday 'Buy Back' scheme and bonus birthday holiday.Healthcare scheme.1-day paid volunteering day.Time Recruitment Solutions Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
