Our client is an award winning property maintenance and refurbishment contractor with multiple offices over the UK.

They specialise in multiple sectors from retail through to social housing.

About the rolePosition: Quantity SurveyorOffice location: Leighton BuzzardSector: Social Housing Kitchen and Bathroom RefurbishmentsType: Full Time Permanent roleWorking Hours: 8:30-5:00 Monday-FridayOffice-based role with site visits throughout the weekSalary: £40,000-£52,000 plus car allowance and generous employee benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities Monitor the contract progress, assess, and report any changes that may affect project costs and or time scale.

Liaise with Contract Managers to establish the project specification and requirements.

Value and authorise payments to sub-contractors.

Assist in the control of contract budgets.

​Prepare and monitor cash flow forecast for designated projects.

Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to the Client/Client's representative.

Prepare monthly valuation reportsSubmit invoices for certified value and ensure payments are received on time.

Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and or Clients/Customers when necessary, building relationships and demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Assist in the development of the procurement programme.

Assist in the preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders to demanding timescales.

Candidate RequirementsMust live within 45 minutes of Leighton Buzzard as this is an office-based role3+ years experience in a Quantity Surveyor roleExperience working on similar social housing refurbishment projectsIf you'd like to apply, please submit an updated CV.
