Job Title: Quantity SurveyorLocation: West Midlands, West Midlands, WalsallJob Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry: Civil EngineeringSecondary Industry: UtilitiesSalary: £40,000.00 - £50,000.00 Per annumJob DescriptionJob Duties:Prepare estimates, budgets, and cost plans for construction projectsConduct risk assessments and value engineeringManage project costs within budget constraintsPrepare tender and contract documentsEvaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotationsProvide advice on contractual claims and disputesMonitor and control project progress and costsRequired Qualifications:Degree in Quantity Surveying or related fieldProfessional accreditation (e.g., RICS) is desirableEducation:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related fieldExperience:At least 3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industryExperience in managing project costs and budgetsNEC 3 & 4 ExperienceWater Infrastucture if possibleKnowledge and Skills:Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processesExcellent numerical and analytical skillsGood communication and negotiation abilitiesProficient in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Excel, CostX)Preferred Qualifications:Chartered status with RICS or equivalentMaster's degree in Quantity Surveying or related fieldWorking Conditions:Office-based work with occasional site visitsHybrid workingStandard working hours with potential for overtimeTravel may be required to project sitesPlease contact Harry Sharrard at Anderselite for more information, via LinkedIn
