KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Define a winning sales strategy for the assigned region to contribute to the realization of the overall Marketing and Sales objectives.

  • Define the qualitative 1-3 yrs sales strategy with SMART objectives
  • Provide information on market requirements, distribution channels and competitors and making a SWOT analysis
  • Monitor market developments in UKI and beyond
  • Work closely together with the assigned sales team to get information out of the assigned region

Expand sales in the assigned markets by applying the right sales methods to customers and prospects.

  • Independent and strongly entrepreneurial attitude in developing the business and contacts
  • Capable of opening up new initiatives/new customers as part of the sales strategy
  • Ability to communicate at all levels (from C-suite to operational professionals) by applying the right sales methods to maximize volumes, turnover and margin
  • Prepare business proposals (tenders) and negotiate conditions in such a way that profitable agreements (maximized sales margins on short and long term) for the delivery of products and services with a customer are being made
  • Work closely together with the assigned sales team in order to expand sales within the assigned region

Forecast product volumes and prepare the yearly budget within the assigned region

  • Compile the forecast in a clear overview on management level
  • Prepare the yearly budget and active follow-up of result
  • Communicate and explain the forecast within the organization

Manage the customers to ensure long-term, profitable relationships

  • Introduce and deploy key account management with the our strategic partners
  • Develop point of view on distribution developments and adjust Terms and Conditions accordingly
  • Analyse, control and follow up on customer payment problems in order to reach a balance between limiting the amounts overdue and maintaining a good profitable customer relationship

Lead and develop sales team

  • Motivate the assigned sales team (incl. Sales Support) to contribute to the strategic objectives of the organization
  • Communicate the strategic objectives to the assigned team and translate the objectives to an individual level
  • Plan individual improvement, development, evaluation/evolution sessions and training of each team member
  • Be the representative for the UKI market in internal and external meetings
