The Science teaching role starts in September 2024.The Headteacher welcomes ECTS to apply to this Science teaching post, as an ECT you will be joining an award-winning Science department within this high-achieving, 11 - 18 comprehensive school and will be teaching a KS3 - KS5 timetable. You will be joining a National SCITT training hub for STEM and will be supported by an exceptional ECT programme in-house CPD opportunities and much more. You will be teaching Key stage 3 and 4 Science and Key stage 5 Science -delivering Ideal Gases, Nuclear Physics, Work, Energy and Power, Molecules and matter and much more! THE SCIENCE TEACHING JOB: · Full-time Science teaching role · GCSE Science · This is a mainstream, Ofsted Outstanding secondary school · State of the art facilities · Solid, well resourced, Science department · Full time (5 days a week) teaching position including planning and marking. · Parking is available on-site and the school is well-served by public transport ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL SCIENCE TEACHER WILL BE · Ideally hold a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS preferred) or equivalent · A team player, able to lead and inspire colleagues and pupils alike. · Someone who can manage students of different abilities and differentiate lessons in line with the needs of the students · You will be proactive and innovative with the ability to engage students in different ways.
