A modern, forward-thinking Secondary Academy with a good reputation in the Bedfordshire area, is seeking to grow their Science Department with a Qualified Science Teacher. 

This would be a permanent role for the right person, with a 3 month probation period via our temp to perm programme.

This school is located in Bedford, easily commutable from Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.

A Science Teacher here could expect to teach Science up to GCSE level only across a cohort of 990 pupils.

This Academy is part of a successful Trust with a wealth of CPD and support available to all of their staff.

Key Responsibilities:Plan, mark and deliver Science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupilsDevelop and deliver engaging and innovative Science lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.

Instil a love for Science by fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment in the classroom.

Inspire and motivate students to achieve academic excellence, supporting their progress and development.

Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and comprehensive Science curriculum.

Utilise modern teaching methods, technology, and practical experiments to enhance learning experiences.

Encourage student participation in extracurricular Science activities and competitions.
