You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across key stages, creating a stimulating learning environment, and supporting students to achieve their full potential in science subjects. You will be working in a OFSTED 'Good' school with access to excellent facilities and resources. This is a role expected to last a term, with possibilities to extend.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.Use innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance student engagement and understanding.Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies for improvement.Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.Promote a positive classroom ethos that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.RequirementsThe successful Science Teacher will have;Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).Experience teaching science at the secondary level (NQTs welcome to apply).Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.What we offerAs a teacher, part of our team, you benefit from:Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
