Science Teacher in Maidstone

Position - Qualified Science TeacherLocation - MaidstoneContact Type - Full Time PermanentTradewind Recruitment are working with an excellent comprehensive school in the Maidstone area who are seeking a qualified Science Teacher for a permanent position in September - full time.

The salary will be MPS/UPS depending on experience.

The role:Plan and deliver creative lessons to students across KS3 and KS4Regularly assess and support students to ensure they are reaching their full potentialEncourage a positive learning environment to ensure all students are engaged and participatingAttend meetings and regular CPD to develop and share best practices across the Science Department and the wider school.

Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential - both experienced and ECT's are welcomedPassionate, have strong subject knowledge and proven experience of teaching Science within a secondary school environmentExcellent classroom management skillsHold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checksCV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possibleLegal right to work in the UKIf you're an experienced Science specialist with a real desire to make a lasting impact then apply today!
