Dunbar Education is seeking a compassionate and experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team in Walsall.

Role: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant Location: Walsall Employer: Dunbar EducationKey Responsibilities:Provide tailored support to children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within a Special Needs Setting.

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, ensuring all students can access the curriculum.

Foster a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes the social and emotional development of all students.

Implement individualized learning plans and behavior management strategies to meet the unique needs of each child.

Collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic well-being of students.

Requirements:Previous experience working with children with SEMH, ADHD, and ASD is essential.

A patient and empathetic approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Relevant qualifications or training in Special Educational Needs would be advantageous but not essential.
