SEN Teaching AssistantTeaching Personnel are the largest education recruitment agency in the country, offering flexible working and control of your own diary.

Key duties and responsibilities:Plan, prepare and deliver assigned programmes of teaching and learning activities to an individual pupil modifying and adapting activities as necessary under the overall direction and supervision of a teacher.

Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment.

Liaise with staff and other relevant professionals and provide information about pupils as appropriate.

Use teaching and learning objectives to plan, evaluate and adjust lessons/work plans as appropriate within agreed systems of supervision.

Assess the needs of a pupil and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support pupil's learning.

Support pupils in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate.

Develop and promote positive working relationships with staff, pupils and parents and promote the school positively at all times.

Required Qualifications:GCSEs in Maths and EnglishEducation:Minimum of GCSE level educationExperience:Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirableVolunteering or personal experience working with Children/Young peoplePreferred Qualifications:Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in SchoolSalary:£83.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.

07% statutory holiday pay.
