Apply NowJOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teaching AssistantLocation:South East England, Surrey, CroydonJob Type:Contract, Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry:Education and TrainingSalary:£90 - £110 Per dayJob Duties:1.
Support and assist students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their learning and development.
2.
Work closely with teachers to implement individual education plans for students.
3.
Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN to help them participate fully in classroom activities.
4.
Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons tailored to meet the specific needs of students with SEN.
5.
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
6.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Required Qualifications:1.
Relevant experience working with children or young people with SEN.
2.
A passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
3.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Education:GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are essential.
Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs would be advantageous.
Experience:Previous experience working in a school setting with students with SEN is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:1.
Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support students with SEN.
2.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student requirements.
3.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practises in SEN education.
Preferred Qualifications:A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification would be desirable.
Working Conditions:1.
Work hours may vary but expected to work full-time hours.
2.
The role may involve some physical activity and the need to assist students with mobility issues.
3.
Work will primarily take place in a school environment.
4.
Training and professional development opportunities may be provided.

07% statutory holiday pay.
