This role involves working with our additional nurture provision for high-needs SEND students, including those with Education, Health, and Care (EHC) plans. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of inspiring and motivating students with SEND and behaviour difficulties.Key Responsibilities:Inspire and motivate students with SEND and behavior difficultiesAssess learners and develop personalized curriculum programs tailored to individual needsImplement strategies to engage challenging students and foster their academic and personal growthCollaborate with colleagues to support the overall development of the inclusion facultyStay abreast of best practices and developments in SEND educationRequirements:Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualificationsExperience working with students with SEND, including SEMH(Social, Emotional & Mental Health), SLCN (Speech, Language & Communication Needs) and MLD (Multiple Learning Difficulties).Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice (SEND COP)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentEnergy, a sense of humour, and a commitment to professional developmentBenefits:SEND Allowance giving an additional £3,000 to £4,500.
