Special Needs Teaching AssistantStart date: Immediate  Learning Support Assistant needed for SEND School.

Do you want the opportunity to enrich the lives of children with Special Needs?

The school is based in the North Birmingham area and offers an alternative curriculum to students aged 11-16 who are unable to attend mainstream education.

The school is desperately seeking a positive, enthusiastic LSA to start with immediate effect.

Working with students who have autism, ASD, ADHD and display challenging behaviour so exceptional behaviour management skills are a must.

The role will include:Assisting the teacher with classroom preparationWork with pupil who requires additional supportLeading group workHelping the class teacher with pupil observationsAs a SEND Teaching Assistant through TeacherActive you will receive:Competitive rates of paySupport from a dedicated team of consultantsAn excellent referral scheme *Terms and Conditions apply*Access to a range of unique positions in our schoolsThe role is a temporary role with the chance to go permanent for the right person.
