Job Title: Senior Accountant/Assistant ManagerLocation: Castle DoningtonSalary: £45k - £50k (DOE)Hours of Work:  Monday – Friday  9am - 5pmOffice BasedWe are hiring a Senior Accountant/ Assistant Manager for a Client facing technical/management role that will have dual requirements for both providing training and technical guidance to Junior team members, colleagues, and clients, as well as preparation and reviewing.

As a successful candidate you will be reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (Accountancy).

You will be required to work with a wide variety of clients from sole traders to multimillion pound groups, you will also liaise with the Senior Leadership Team across the group on the full spectrum of opportunities.

Key accountabilities of a Senior Accountant/Assistant ManagerInterpreting accounts and conveying to Senior Management and ClientsReviewing Sole Trade and Partnership AccountsLiasing with HMRC where required on behalf of clientsPreparing Corporation Tax computations and submitting CT600’s and revisionsReviewing Tax returns of both individuals and partnershipsReviewing and preparing statutory reports and tax computationsReviewing P11DsSkills, Knowledge and Experience of a Senior Accountant/Assistant ManagerAn understanding of Corporate Restructures, Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax and Inheritance TaxQualifies (ACA/ACCA) or qualified by experienceAt least 3 years experience post qualifiedAbility to develop and maintain client relations whilst ensuring a high level of service to meet client expectationsAble to train colleagues on a technical levelOpen and encouraging to changeDesire to build strong client relationshipsAbility to think on feet and challenge the status quoExperience with cloud software such as Xero and QuickbooksStrong attention to detailBenefits of a Senior Accountant/Assistant ManagerFree ParkingCompetitive Salary £45k – 50k (DOE)25 Days HolidayDiscretionary annual bonus of up to 10%Apply to this Senior Accountant/assistant Manager role through this advert.
