The Senior Electronics Engineer’s goal will be to develop electronics across our product range and ensure that all tasks are achieved in a timely and efficient manner.This would be a really exciting time to be joining the business and allow you to be a big part of the companys future.Key skills & experience:● Degree in Electronics Engineering or related qualification (or several yearsindustry experience)● Strong verbal and written communication skills● Experience using Altium and LTSpice, or similar transferable experience● Experience designing multi-layer circuit boards is essential - includingcomponents such as microcontrollers, DC-DC converters, FPGAs, embeddedprocessors, motor drivers etc.● Thorough knowledge of PCB layout principles and best practices for high-speedsignal routing● Skills and experience debugging prototype PCBs, making use of testequipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers etc. to perform board bring-upand troubleshooting● Experience writing technical specifications and designing boards to a set ofSpecifications:● Ability to verify the compliance of a design solution against a set ofSpecifications● Experience contributing to design reviews and collaborating with otherengineers and non technical staff● Strong appreciation for EMC considerations in electronics development and theability to debug EMC related issues● Embedded programming skills (C++)● Experience using version control systems such as git● FPGA development (VHDL / Verilog) experience is beneficial● Experience developing RF PCBs is beneficial
