Senior Environmental Engineer in South Harefield

Our Client has a requirement for a Senior Environmental Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis in West London.Role Purpose:Excellent career growth opportunity for a technically strong environmental engineer seeking a new challenge in a fast-paced environment, executing the environmental design of a range of facilities including traditional energy and energy transition projects.Job Role Responsibilities:• Ensure that projects are in compliance with state, federal, and country environmental regulations.• Manage environmental engineering scope including water & industrial wastewater treatment and drainage philosophy.• Review permit material for air and effluent emission compliance.• Develop environmental design basis, process flow diagrams and equipment datasheets.• Attend of key meetings such as P&IDs review, HAZOP, and 3D model review and providing environmental input.• Compile technical lists and inventories such as emissions and effluents summaries.• Deliver excellent quality work, showing thoroughness and rigour in checking and attention to detail.Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:Essential:• Hold a recognized degree in environmental, chemical/process or mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university.• Display excellent knowledge of technical theory, engineering principles, good engineering practices and how to apply them for design execution.• Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision showing a high degree of professionalism.• Have familiarity with major regulations and industry codes and standards affecting standard design, quality, or processes.• Be a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) or show willingness to complete.Desirable Any of the following experience is considered as important for this role:• Working in EPC industry and with large-scale project execution.• Working on Conceptual and FEED projects.• Assessing of air emissions from industrial sources.• Design of water/industrial wastewater systems.Company informationAt First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
