Are you an experienced Hydrogeologist looking to take the next step in your career?

Our client, a leading organisation in the water industry, is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join their team.

With a commitment to water supply and environmental sustainability, our client is at the forefront of shaping the future of water resource management.

You will be covering the Hampshire region with approximately 2 days per week attending site visits, 3 days working from home - although you may be required to work from office as required.

Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have a full UK Drivers Licence and be comfortable with working in confined spaces.

Responsibilities:Undertake detailed UGS desk-studies, field tests, and produce technical reports/assessments to provide senior technical specialist support.

Assist in down-hole UGS CCTV and geophysics investigations.

Review and maintain UGS asset condition, raw water quality, and performance data.

Ensure UGS risks and needs are included in the company risk process and support associated risk meetings.

Identify UGS base-maintenance needs and support asset planning.

Provide hydrogeological technical specialist support to UGS projects within delivery.

Liaise with the Environment Agency and Local Authorities when necessary.

Skills and CompetenciesExperience in Water Supply related work,Strong planning and project management ability.

Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

Proficiency in using Hydrogeological Software, MS Excel, Word, and GIS tools such as MapInfo/ArcGIS/QGIS.

Qualifications:MSc in Hydrogeology or equivalentDegree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Earth Science with relevant extensive experience.

Chartered status in a relevant field is preferred or a willingness to work towards it.
