Senior Interior Designer (Vectorworks) - High-End Residential (Chelsea Studio)

This established design firm, located in the heart of Chelsea, is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer to join their dynamic team. You will play a key role in taking high-end residential projects from concept to completion, ensuring our clients receive a personalized and unforgettable design experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process for assigned high-end residential projects, collaborating closely with clients to understand their needs, desires, and budget.
• Develop creative and innovative design concepts, translating client visions into beautiful and functional living spaces.
• Produce high-quality drawings and specifications using Vectorworks, ensuring all designs meet technical and code requirements.
• Select, specify, and source furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that perfectly complement the overall design aesthetic.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, consistently meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
• Oversee construction documentation and collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Stay current on the latest trends and innovations in high-end residential design.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Senior Interior Designer, with a strong focus on high-end residential projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Vectorworks for creating detailed drawings, layouts, and renderings.
• Excellent understanding of construction documents, building codes, and materials.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Keen eye for detail, a passion for design excellence, and a commitment to client satisfaction.
