Overview and Responsibilities
As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital role within the payroll department, reporting directly to the Head of Payroll. Your responsibilities will include:
Processing two monthly payrolls for over 1,500 employees for our client and their subsidiary, maintaining accuracy and efficiency throughout.nCollaborating with senior stakeholders to implement process improvements and automation within the payroll function.nManaging payroll queries from both internal and external sources.nHandling various payroll-related tasks including SSP, SMP/SPP, salary sacrifices, and pension administration.nMaintaining relationships with stakeholders and supporting the launch of new initiatives, such as a salary sacrifice pension scheme.
Skills and Experience RequirednTechnical Skills:nMinimum of 3 years of payroll experience.nProficiency with
Zellis Resourcelink
is essential.nPrevious experience in a fast-paced, in-house payroll environment.nAdvanced Excel skills.
Soft Skills:nCollaborative and team-oriented, able to foster strong relationships across departments.nHighly organized and capable of meeting tight deadlines.nFlexible, adaptable, and resilient in a dynamic work environment.nExcellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.nDetail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture.nSelf-motivated and capable of managing time effectively.nAble to cultivate collaborative relationships with the HR department.
