Site Manager (Fit-out)PermanentLocation – Glasgow (First job is away from home)Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + package + accommodation etcRef: GR1367Gibson Recruitment LimitedJob DescriptionA well-respected building contractor with an enviable order book and spread of projects across the country.The first job for the successful Site Manager to deliver will be a high-end fit-out contract in the Western Isles of Scotland (approximately 12 months). Accommodation and a subsistence package are included. Thereafter, the next project will be another bespoke refurbishment in Glasgow.This is an excellent opportunity for an established Site Manager to join a growing business who have a demonstrable record of developing and promoting from within.Responsibilities * Plan and organise labour on site, including Sub Contractors. * Ensure all resources are used efficiently on site. * Keeping site records and registers up to date. * Keep records and maintain electronic filing system. * Ensure the site is a safe and tidy place to work and visit. * Quality Control. * Authorising timesheets for trades and labour. * Maintaining high levels of safety standards on site.Requirements * Demonstrable track record of delivering High-End fit-out projects for another residential housebuilder or commercial building contractor. * Ideally have a joinery trade background. * CSCS, SMSTS & First Aid tickets. * Proven experience of meeting deadlines and keeping costing guidelines.What To Do NowPlease apply now with your most up to date CV or call Graeme on the details below for more information.If this role is not for you but you'd like to have a conversation regarding your next career move, don't hesitate to give us a call, in confidence
