Software Developer in Walker

WRK Digital are partnered with one of the UKs leading occupational healthcare organisations that deliver impact driven health programs tailored to over 2.5 million employees across the UK workforce.

They are looking for a Software Developer to join their expanding team and be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of their core systems. You would be working alongside Developers, Testers, Support Analysts and Product Analysts in an agile environment.

This is a fully remote position but all applicants must be based in the UK.

As Software Developer you will be responsible for:

• Delivering ongoing development & maintenance of their core business platform.
• Acting as a system architect when required.
• Being the subject matter expert regarding the application.
• Participating in change boards, planning, design, and Agile ceremonies.
• Providing expert assistance to IT service desk staff on escalated issues related to the application.
• Working alongside technical partners to deliver new features.
• Supporting Junior Developers in their career progression and skill development.

As Software Developer, you will have:

• 5 Years experience working in a .Net position
• Knowledge of modern front end JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and Vue along with experience of API development and integrating with 3rd party API's.
• Strong experience working with SQL Server, Azure DevOps workflow and the Azure Platform.
• Experience of working in an agile environment.
• Excellent communication skills, able to speak in technical and non-technical terms.
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
