Head Resourcing are looking for an API developer for a mutual society based in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will have experience with experience with APIs and ideally some exposure to Java. Some SQL knowledge is also ideal but not a necessity.
This role is based in Glasgow 2 days per week with the other 3 days being from home. It pays between £40 - 48k dependent on experience and offers a 10% employer pension. This role does not offer sponsorship.
The company are currently expanding their IT team this year and have hired 4 developers so far this year as well as increased headcount in other areas of the company. This is a great time to join an expanding company who are undergoing changes.
Job responsibilities:
- Experience using APIs to debug logs/code.
- Experience with ideally Java but if not exposure to C# or Python.
- Data analysis through the usage of SQL.
- Follow the development lifecycle and release process for production implementations and fixes
- Requirements gathering, analysis, effort estimation, and solution design of new SQL projects within the business
