Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Consultant to join our dynamic team and drive the design and implementation of cutting-edge document management, workflow automation, and customer communications solutions. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and business acumen to understand client requirements, architect innovative solutions, and lead the pre-sales and proposal efforts for complex, high-value engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential clients to understand their business challenges, requirements, and objectives related to document management, workflow automation and customer communications services and solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and design innovative, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that leverage the latest technologies, including Generative AI, RPA, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical experts, and subject matter experts, to develop comprehensive solution proposals and presentations.
  • Lead the technical evaluation and solution design phases, ensuring alignment with client requirements, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop detailed transition / transformation plans, resource estimates, and cost models to support the successful implementation and delivery of proposed solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in document management, workflow automation, customer communications, and related fields.
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, such as whitepapers, case studies, and presentations, to position the company as a subject matter expert.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and implementing document management, workflow automation, and customer communications solutions, preferably in a consulting or pre-sales capacity.
  • Proven expertise in technologies such as OCR, ICR, OMR, auto-classification, rules-based capture, digital mailroom, document composition, and print production.
  • Proficiency in web-based systems, including HTML, with a focus on E-Communications and E-Transactions, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of transactional document life cycles, document composition, print production, and mail-out processes.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, change management, and process re-engineering methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Project management experience, with a certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP, is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a BPO or shared services environment is a significant advantage.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events within UK and occasionally outside the UK.

Communication

  • Must be an excellent communicator, in both written and oral forms, confidently delivering information, both technical and commercial, to business stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicates solution concepts and designs to senior stakeholders, up to and including C-level executives.
  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organised presentations to clients (internal and external)
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and tactfully.

Teamwork and Leadership

  • Strong collaborative skills, able to work independently or lead cross-functional teams
  • Experience motivating and managing teams to achieve project goals
  • Proficiency in conflict resolution and problem-solving

Salary Range: £65,000 - £80,000 (Depending on Experience)
