Dunbar Education is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as SEN Teaching Assistants.
This is a full-time position with non-negotiable terms.
Requirements:Full-time availability onlyPossession of a valid DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain oneMinimum of 6 months experience working in a SEN school (non-negotiable)Responsibilities: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Providing support to children with various SEN needs, including ADHD, ASD, and SEMHAssisting SEN pupils with their academic and social developmentCollaborating with teachers and other professionals to create and implement individualised learning plansEncouraging independence and fostering a positive learning environmentProviding one-on-one support or small group instruction as neededAssisting with behaviour management strategies and promoting positive behaviourMonitoring and tracking pupil progress and reporting to relevant stakeholdersSupporting sensory and communication needs as requiredMaintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupilsBenefits:Opportunities for professional development and trainingSupportive and collaborative work environmentChance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with SENIf you meet the above requirements and are passionate about supporting children with SEN, we would love to hear from you.
