We are excited to announce the opening of a new service in multiple locations across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Merseyside, and we are seeking talented professionals to join our team.Position: Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist (Permanent)Job Description:As a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist at our new service, you will play a crucial role in helping children achieve their communication and language development goals. Your responsibilities will include:To provide a speech and language therapy services to children, directly and through support to their families and the multi-disciplinary teamProvide speech, language and communication assessments for pupils / prospective pupils in consultation with the multi- disciplinary team and other SLTs and SLTAsKeep accurate records and provide written reportsSet targets for therapy and monitor progressProvide intervention on an individual or group basis as requiredDevelop and demonstrate SLT programmes and groups for pupilsHold responsibility for own caseload and be responsible for a defined area of the service, working without direct supervision We have opportunities in the following areas of Speech and Language Therapist- AAC- Dysphagia- Family Hub Team- Youth JusticeQualifications:Speech and Language Therapy Degree or MastersExperience working with children who have complex needs, their families and the Multi-agency teamRegistration with RCSLT and HCPC Benefits:Competitive salary of up to £46,000 per year.Opportunities for career development and advancement.Supportive team environment with regular training and supervision.Comprehensive benefits package.
