Role: Stock Controller

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum DOE

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm)

Contract: Permanent

Job Description

To monitor and audit the accuracy of stock movements between and within IGC locations and to support the Warehouse and Supply Chain teams in administrative tasks as required. You will be responsible for the following:

  • Monitoring stock accuracy levels and movements in the warehouse and at external locations
  • Monitoring transfer orders and sales orders as necessary to support the above task
  • Reconciling stock reports from external sites to ensure alignment with internal system stock reports
  • Investigating, resolving and reporting any discrepancies found while performing above task
  • Assisting in auditing the updating of systems in timely manner to ensure stock accuracy for planning, procurement and finance functions
  • Monitoring accuracy of all paperwork relating to delivery information
  • Communication of day to day issues with colleagues as appropriate
  • Monitoring stock item and Supply Chain Purchase Order integrity, i.e. timely placement and receipt in line with business process
  • To provide absence cover and ongoing support to the Warehouse and Supply Chain team members when appropriate
  • Supporting accurate Master Data collation
  • Working in a safe manner, without risk to self or others by observing H&S of yourself and others

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience in Stock Control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills building open cooperative relationships
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Food manufacturing knowledge
  • Computer literate, particularly in Excel

Desirable:

  • Ability to persuade and encourage development of colleagues to recognise the importance of clean accurate timely data
