System Accountant in West End

Title: Systems Accountant (Microsoft Dynamics 365)

Package: £85,000 - £95,000 + bonus

About the role:

We are currently working with a FTSE 250 listed real estate group who are looking for an experienced Systems Accountant (D365) to join their team in their West End offices. The division has gone through exponential growth over the past few years from a turnover growing from £80m to £300m+ in 2021 which has been achieved through organic growth and acquisitions.

Key responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller the Systems Accountant role will include:

• Lead and execute transformation initiatives to streamline financial operations and establish consistent ways of working, aligning to corporate strategy, local statutory requirements and SOX controls
• Gain a deep understanding of the existing business processes to identify areas of process inefficiency and advocate for continual improvement and process redesign
• Own the end-2-end delivery of the transformation initiatives, collaborating with the relevant teams across the business to ensure success
• Monitor project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Collaborate with IT and other relevant departments and third party vendors to ensure the successful implementation of finance systems
• Business partner with finance stakeholders to understand their problem, design and deliver strategic and transformational solutions
• Business partner with key finance and business stakeholders to ensure the success of the digital transformation programme, supporting change management strategies
• Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure buy in from the business on finance transformation initiatives, including establishing regular communication channels and quarterly finance systems forums

Role requirements:

• Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CIMA)
• 5+ years post qualification experience
• MS Dynamics 365 (D365) is essential
• Business Partnering with business stakeholders including non finance personnel
