Do you have experience supporting students in the classroom and looking for a new role within an inclusive and supportive secondary school based in Bury?

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client secondary school who require an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their outstanding support team.

There are full-time and part-time positions available commencing in the new academic year (September 2024).

About the job role:Assist the class teacher with the planning and preparation of lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Provide regular and consistent feedback on pupil progress and work with the class teacher to set appropriate targets that challenge and motivate learners.

Establish good rapport with pupils to be able to support their social and emotional needs effectively.

Contribute to classroom behaviour management using effective behaviour strategies.

Contribute to the ethos of the school.

Key information:£1670 - £1800 per month, dependent on relevant skills and qualifications.

Paid weekly, every Friday via PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fee).

Access to free CPD training.

Opportunity to build on experience supporting children and young people.

Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service required (or be willing to apply for one).

This secondary school is larger than the average, with approximately 1000 students on roll.

With the recent Ofsted inspection highlighting that this is a ‘good’ school, the senior leadership team and members of staff strive to provide high quality education and support to the students.
