Apply NowJob Title: Teaching AssistantLocation:Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, HarrogateJob Type:Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry:Education and TrainingSalary:£85 - £100 Per dayJob Duties:Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and educational activitiesAssisting with classroom management and student supervisionProviding one-on-one support to students with learning difficulties or disabilitiesPreparing and organising educational materials and resourcesSupporting the social and emotional development of the children Required Qualifications:GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathsPrevious experience working in an educational settingGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamUnderstanding of child safeguarding policies and proceduresEducation:Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathsExperience:Previous experience working with Primary aged pupils preferredKnowledge and Skills:Knowledge of educational practises and principlesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff membersOrganisational and time management skillsWorking Conditions:Work is primarily conducted in a classroom settingMay involve standing for extended periods and some lifting of educational materialsWork hours are typically during school hours, Monday to FridayAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
