Job Opportunity: Full-Time KS2 Teaching Assistant

We're seeking a dedicated Full-Time KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team, providing invaluable support to Key Stage 2 pupils.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a genuine interest in primary education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the needs of Key Stage 2 students.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils, assisting with their academic progress and personal development.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
  • Assist in the preparation and organisation of educational materials and resources.
  • Support classroom management and behavior strategies to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within Key Stage 2.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service or willingness to undergo a new check.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Access to a car to commute to the school location.
