Lead Software Engineer (React / Node) in UK

We are currently looking to hire a Lead Software Engineer (React / Node) to join our expanding team.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Technical leadership of cross functional project delivery teams
• Overseeing application-level design decisions
• Solving complex architecture-level and technical problems
• Writing low-level technical documentation
• Writing/fixing code when required
• Partnering effectively with client project teams

You’ll have:

• Several years' experience building enterprise solutions, evaluating existing IT solutions and advising on technical solution implementation
• Proven ability to explain and demonstrate technical decisions to both technical and business level stakeholders
• Several years' experience of solution architecture development
• A solid grasp of TDD/BDD
• Experience writing clear and concise technical documentation such as low-level designs and/or software specifications
• Excellent client presentation skills
• Excellent knowledge of AWS and cloud native architecture
• Experience with SDLC best practices, e.g. Mockoon, Sonar and CI/CD principles
• Proven experience using React, Node.js, Jenkins, Terraform and Agile methodologies
• Bachelor's degree / master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or other STEM field

It would be great if you have:

• Bachelor's degree / master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or other STEM field
• Experience with big data, enterprise integration patterns, micro-services
• Understanding of cloud services and cloud architecture
• Cloud security best practice
• Django and/or Python skills
• Software Consulting experience.
