Gap personnel is working with a fantastic company in East Harling who are recruiting for Timber yard operatives on a Temporary to Permanent basis the company is a manufacturer of wooden and timber framing, supplying the housing and construction sector.

You will be helping to build and finish of wooden structures and be working in the yard and warehouse on site so flexibility will be needed, the company are looking to put candidates that show willingness.

Pay rate: £11.

50 per hour.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, Hours: 07:30 – 17:00own transport or able to commute to site , as punctuality and attendance is very important.

Job Duties:Cutting wood and timber, assembling timber framesLoading and feeding machineryOperating air powered tools (i.

, such as nail guns)compiling orders, customer servicehousekeepingstock taking and various duties within the site.

moving pallet-packed materials around the site or storage facilityCandidate must be:Fit and active, Honest, reliable, trustworthy and have a good work ethic.

Conscientious, Good at working under pressure, Self-driven.

Willing to learn new skills, good communication skills.

Able to work in a team and on own initiative, Hardworking, Excellent people skills.

Would be beneficial but not essential to the roll.

Be a hands-on person.

Happy to use a variety of tools.

Manual handling needed daily.

Have basic numeracy and English literacy skills.
