Role Description

The Global Employment and Mobility Vendor Manager will manage the relationships and performance of EOR service providers around the globe. They will ensure that the EOR services are delivered effectively, compliantly, and in line with our team’s expansion strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of international employment compliance, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration.

We are also open to reviewing candidates in the USA and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Evaluate potential vendors based on their expertise, local compliance knowledge, track record, ability to support visas, etc.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and agreements with EOR partners. Ensure that contracts clearly define the scope of services, compliance requirements, pricing structures, etc.
  • Monitor EOR vendors' performance to ensure they meet compliance standards. Track KPIs such as payroll accuracy, compliance with local labor laws, and responsiveness to employees.
  • Work closely with EOR vendors to ensure that all employment-related obligations, including taxes, benefits, and reporting are met in each country of operation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks with international employment.
  • Foster strong, positive, and collaborative relationships that promote smooth operations and quality service delivery.
  • Use negotiating and problem-solving skills to resolve issues with vendors promptly and effectively.
  • Optimise costs related to EOR vendor services. Negotiate price structures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage budgets based on team goals.
  • Conduct regular audits of EOR partners to ensure compliance with contracts, employment laws, and quality standards.
  • Report to senior management on the status of vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as finance, HR, Operations, and legal, to ensure EOR vendor relationships align with team strategy and goals.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Experience in global payroll and compliance.
  • Vendor management experience.
  • Contract management experience, specifically experience negotiating price structures and managing budgets related to international workforce expansion.
  • Cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Project management skills.
  • Reporting experience.
