Reporting to Nathan Stewart, Field Operations Brigg, the successful candidate would be responsible for the delivery of repairs and restoration, reinforcement delivery, new connections and customer diversion projects to high levels of customer expectations, strict safety standards, stringent time, cost and quality parameters. This role will need the candidate to be available for standby duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Project management and responsibility for maintenance, restoration, repairs, overhead, site safety or new connections to the network to high levels of customer expectations, strict safety standards, stringent time, cost and quality parameters.

·Planning and delivery of a wide range of projects / activities across multiple work streams to time, cost and quality. With potential to include repairs, maintenance, connections or resource scheduling activities

·Undertake reactive and planned fault repairs on the overhead and underground networks from complex cable faults, street lighting issues and voltage irregularities

·Effective site management of resources, including direct labour and contractors.

·Communicate effectively with customers.

·Deliver advice to customers on safe working practices, including works in proximity to cables & overhead lines

·Provide accurate and timely reports on progress and status of regional projects in development and delivery

·Formally close-out and review delivered projects against business objectives and project success criteria

·Progress own operational authorisations and participate on the standby rota once minimum criteria is met

·Provide coaching and mentoring to develop trainees throughout the business

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential Qualifications:

•ONC / ILM

•Full UK Driving Licence

•Excellent customer service skills

•Knowledge of the distribution network

•Be willing to work towards full LV authorisations including fault management

Desirable Qualifications:

•HNC Electrical Engineering

•Electrical Trade / Engineering Background

•Advanced Knowledge of LV, HV and EHV networks.

•Knowledge in IT systems such as CRM, CRM GO, PMIT, QPID, ISMART

Essential Experience:

•Experience & Knowledge of the distribution system Inc. cable, plant & overhead.

•Customer Service skills

Desirable Experience:

•Project Management

•Authorised Person – U/G & O/H

•Fault management

Grade: Industrial Level 3 pp 7-12

Salary: £36,929 - £47,541

Plus transport provision
