Accountancy Practice Bookkeeper in Whitstable

TPF Recruitment is supporting ahighly successful and growing accountancy practice based inWhitstable in their search for a bookkeeper to join their team. Thebusiness has been undergoing continued and sustained growth throughreferrals and new business generation. The Directors have cleargrowth plans and vision providing a supportive and progressiveworking environment. The firm has embraced online accounting movingclients onto cloud accounting software such as Xero Sage andQuickBooks and experience of these programmes or similar programmesis essential.

Joining as a Bookkeeperyou will take responsibility for the delivery of bookkeepingservices up to extended trial balance preparation of VAT returnsand involvement with wider services dependent on the background andexperience of the right professional. You will work on variedclients across a mix of industries andturnovers.

Clients are primarily soletraders limited companies and LLPs. You will carve a key supportrole here to Managers and Directors with increasing responsibilityclient contact and development onoffer.

• Youmay be an AAT qualified technician or you may have developed yourcareer through experience to date only and be looking to buildfurther on this in a handsonrole.
  
• Mostimportantly as a key requirement to be considered for this role andfirm you will have developed experience across bookkeeping andpreparing vat returns within an accountancy practice firm of anysize.
  
• Youwill have at least 2 years or ideally more experience developedacross any of these areas within an accountancy practiceenvironment as a keyrequirement.
