We are looking for an Accountant with experience of dealing with tax and accounting issues in overseas territories to join the Group Tax team.

You will be looking after tax issues for a number of overseas branches (mainly located in Europe).

The role reports to the Group VAT Senior Manager and is part of the Group Tax team. 

You will be the main point of contact on tax matters for Mitie's overseas branches and have the responsibility for VAT reporting including providing data on a timely basis to external advisers preparing VAT returns for the overseas branches (mainly monthly reporting), reviewing returns and arranging for payments to be made. 

You should be able to have a good communication with third party advisers to ensure VAT compliance deadlines and partner with key business areas to provide accurate advice.

You will be able to lead on tax audits and assist on corporate tax compliance works.

You will come from Accounting background holding a Degree in Tax, Finance or Accounting as well as CPA or ACCA.
